RoWorld Tools & Calculators

The numbers that decide a match, worked out instantly.

Last updated:

Most RoWorld mistakes are arithmetic mistakes. You bought too early, you committed too few troops, or you forgot that fallout land does not count toward 80 percent. These tools take the arithmetic off your plate so you can spend your attention on the decisions.

The territory and build calculator

The territory calculator is the centrepiece. It has three modes, each built around a number you see in game:

  • Build timer — enter your gold-per-second rate and pick a structure, and it tells you exactly how long until you can afford it and how much of a minute of income it represents.
  • Attack planner — enter your Cities, your attack ratio and the defender’s troop count, and it shows how many troops each click commits, what the defender’s effective strength is after Defense Post multipliers, and what ratio you would actually need.
  • Win planner — enter your land percentage and an estimate of fallout on the map, and it tells you how much clean land you still need to cross the 80 percent line.

Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is tracked, and there is no account to create.

Why the numbers matter

RoWorld has a small number of variables that decide outcomes, and each one is displayed somewhere on your screen:

  • Your gold rate is the green figure beside your balance. It is the number that determines how quickly you grow, and it can climb by two orders of magnitude inside a single match.
  • Your troop cap is set by your Cities at 25,000 each, and it decides how large an army you can field at all.
  • Your attack ratio decides what share of that army each click spends.
  • Your land percentage is your share of the map, and the world bar measures it against the 80 percent goal.

Four numbers, and the whole game becomes legible. The calculator exists so you never have to do the mental arithmetic in the middle of a fight.

Tools we would build next

Two tools are requested often enough that we plan them for a future update:

  • A blast radius overlay, showing Atomic, Hydrogen and MIRV coverage circles against the current map so you can see exactly what a strike would sterilise.
  • An income projection, modelling how your gold rate would change if you added a Factory inside a specific cluster rather than in isolation.

Until then, the economy and buildings guide covers how to reason about income placement in words, and the expansion strategy guide covers when a push is worth committing to.

A note on accuracy

Every figure these tools use is an observed value from the live game rather than a published specification, because RoWorld does not publish one. The structures, prices and multipliers used here are listed on the building tier list, and the patch notes record every change we have confirmed. If a number in the calculator stops matching your game, that page is where the correction belongs.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the questions RoWorld players ask most.

Does the RoWorld calculator need an account?

No. Everything runs in your browser with no login, no tracking and no data sent anywhere. Enter your numbers and the results update instantly.

How do I read my gold rate in RoWorld?

It is the green figure printed next to your gold balance in the HUD. Divide any building price by it and you get the seconds until you can afford that building, which is exactly what the territory calculator does for you.

Why does fallout change the 80 percent win condition?

Fallout territory is excluded from your world control percentage entirely, so irradiated land is a permanent hole in your score unless you reclaim it with troops. The win planner in the calculator shows the gap.

Is the calculator accurate for a specific match?

It uses observed values for prices, troop caps and multipliers. Terrain, player skill, troop regeneration and connection quality are not modelled, so treat it as a planning aid rather than an outcome predictor.

Will new tools be added?

A blast radius overlay and an income projection are the next two planned. The tools hub lists them along with the reasoning, and the patch notes record confirmed changes to the underlying numbers.
